Does the Windows 2000 registry modification and VB script work for systems other than Windows 2000
The TZ database looks about the same on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.
I wasn't sure if the VB script was ok for Windows XP and 2003.
A:
We recommend using the patches available on Microsoft update for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
We haven't fully tested the script against these operating systems and so can't guarantee that it would work properly, even though the database is very similar.
