I discovered this one by accident (thought I was pressing ALT + Print Screen) - in Windows 8 the Windows key + Print Screen takes a screen shot of the entire screen and creates a sequentially named file in the Pictures Library under a Screenshots folder!

the file type is PNG and it's one of my new favorite finds in Windows 8!!!

  • I don't have a Prt Sc key on the Surface Pro
I want a screen shot of the whole file not just the screen

  • so when I press the fn key and then the prt sc key it doesn't put a screen shot in the folder.
