probably the most important television comedy ever, the it crowd series 1 has been released on netflix and i believe is now available on dvd in the states.  my wife and i have watched every episode on ifc at least 10 times - there's so much humor packed into each episode we rarely get tired of them.  the show has an amazing cast, so it has surpassed mr. bean (although our kids still love rowan and mr. bean's holiday)
