Hi,

Is there is an official channel for providing feedback on the beta?

I ran into some issues with backing up a 2012 Hyper-V cluster using DPM SP1 beta. When the backup server was turned on, starting up other VMs would cause the cluster to lose connection with the ISCSI CSVs and the VMs to freeze for a couple of minutes. This was with the DPM VM sitting on the same CSV as the VMs it was backing up. Moving the DPM server to a different CSV resolved the issue.

I read that backup to Windows Azure will be encrypted and compressed. Will this option be available for 'normal' protection groups also?

Just want to get confirmation... it was stated on the SP1 CTP2 release that the DPM team would support the upgrade path from Beta --> RC --> RTM. Is this still the case? Thank you.

Is there a guide or case study that covers comparison or why to move from Symantec Backup Exec to Microsoft Systems Center Data Protection Manager? Or is there a comparison sheet on BE 2012 versus DPM 2012?

Any reference will help.

Great update. Will the use of VHDX make it possible to use 4k sector disks as backup storage?
