&lt;p&gt;Step 1 of a successfull product launch ought to include making the RTM product available through all disctribution channels, INCLUDING msdn. Additionally you seem to forget that subscribers actually pay a lot of money for theses subs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;or maybe microsoft have different criteria for measuring success. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i hope that when (if?) eventually i am able to get hold of the product that the quality of development is better than the &amp;nbsp;quality of the launch! &lt;/p&gt;
