  • It should be noted that kb2799728 which is being promoted as a fix for the critical issue where trying to backup a Server 2012 cluster will take your CSV offline with catastrophic results, has problems in the shape of a severe memory leak.

    I'd urge people to read the following thread before installing. As of this date there is no fix.

  • This memory leak is horrible. Does anybody know how to fix it? We've uninstalled the hotfix and the problem persists on all of our clusters?
