It should be noted that kb2799728 which is being promoted as a fix for the critical issue where trying to backup a Server 2012 cluster will take your CSV offline with catastrophic results, has problems in the shape of a severe memory leak.
I'd urge people to read the following thread before installing. As of this date there is no fix.
This memory leak is horrible. Does anybody know how to fix it? We've uninstalled the hotfix and the problem persists on all of our clusters?
