I was setting up a Lync Server 2010 Edge Server in my lab and I wondered what would happen if I didn't configure the full computer name on the Edge Server. In previous OCS 2007 environments, I've seen this happen where the domain name is not configured...

I've run into this with a couple of customers recently. The issue is that when trying to establish a media session, either Audio, Video, or Desktop Sharing, with a remote or federated user the session fails. With an internal user, everything works fine...
