I am currently evaluating MDT2012 BETA 1 and have the following query regarding deploying to a VHD.
I can successfully run the 'Deploy to VHD Client Task Sequence' on a machine which will Wipe the HDD, create a VHD and install W7 to the VHD which I can then boot from.
Is it possible to use this task sequence to deploy W7 to a VHD that sits within an existing OS (Dual boot) e.g You have existing Windows 7 installation which remains intact and you deploy to for example a new VHD in C:\VHD\Test.vhd thus leaving the existing install and basically adding a new OS.
I hope this makes sense and would appreciate any responses to this query.
Can I run native PS commands in the 'Run Powershell Script' sequence step or only PS scripts?

grr I always get a page not found when trying the link to connect. I cant even see MDT in the connect product directory at connect.microsoft.com/directory

regardless if I am signed into connect or not, and I have now tried 3 connect accounts (created a new one).
wierd but not the end of the world.
aha, if people are having trouble finding this beta on Connect, create a new Live profile and make sure you select US for the location. Probably works for most countries, but not all

There is no MDT 2012 Update 2. Update 1 is the latest.
