At the annual Microsoft in Education Global Forum, educators participated in Learn-a-Thon, a 24-hour activity new to the conference. They designed learning activities that showed innovative use of technology in three millennium development goals: poverty, sustainability and gender equality.
During the forum, 27 educators and six Mentor schools from the U.S. shared technology-infused projects such as project-based learning, entrepreneurial experiences and global collaboration opportunities.
