First the let’s talk about the great Microsoft breakout sessions at this year’s PASS Summit conference! Some of the highlights from the 60+ Microsoft sessions include Liam Cavanagh (3 sessions on the upcoming SQL Azure Database solution), Buck Woody (2 sessions on Manageability, and 1 session on Performance Tuning), and Albert Chew (2 sessions on BI, including the upcoming Gemini self-service BI Excel plug-in).
In addition to the great sessions, checkout the new & improved SQL Server First-Aid Clinic! This year’s Clinic boasts *both* the Microsoft Customer Service & Support team (CSS) but also the Microsoft SQL Customer Advisory Team (SQLCAT). CSS will help you troubleshoot your database issues, and SQLCAT will answer your data-tier app design/database architecture questions. No question is too big or small…enjoy this *free consulting service* from Microsoft!!
And now let’s talk about more free stuff: As if 168 technical sessions and free consulting services wasn’t enough, each attendee will receive a FREE COPY of SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition!! (Attendees must redeem a coupon at the Microsoft Product Pavilion in order to receive the free software; software is not for resale)
