About Dan Stolts The "ITProGuru" Systems Management and Security Expert

 Dan Stolts is also known as the "IT Pro Guru" (ITProGuru) - IT Pro Guru?  What is a ITProGuru anyway? IT is short for Information Technology; Pro is short for Professional; Guru is... According to Dictionary.com = 3. any person who counsels or advises; mentor 4. a leader in a particular field.  Therefore, ITProGuru is a leader in the information technology field and a mentor of IT Professionals.

 


 
ITProGuru Personal Mission: Help the Information Technology Community solve technical problems. Teach IT professionals how they can solve problems, save time, save money and build their own technical prowess. Grow the technology community by helping and teaching others how they can be part of something that is much bigger than the sum of its parts.  Help community leaders build and grow the community. Follow and share best practices provided by world leaders such as Stephen R. Covey, Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegie and others.  

 

Short Bio:  Dan Stolts (The "ITProGuru") is a technology expert who is a master of systems management and security with over 25 years experience. He is proficient in many Microsoft products especially in the server area (Windows Server, System Center,  Exchange, SharePoint, Virtualization, Etc) and holds many certifications including MCT, MCITP, MCSE, TS, etc. Dan is currently specializing in System Management and Security and is also very passionate about virtualization and cloud technologies. Dan is and has been a very active member of the community. He is president of Boston User Groups, Founder of Virtualization Group Boston, Founder of North East Leaders and serves on many IT Community group boards. He is in the process of writing his first book on building technology communities. He is a believer in social networking and can be reached on twitter @ITProGuru.  He has participated in many non-technology community groups such as: Boy Scouts, Rotary Club, Lions Club, local Chambers of Commerce and is a mentor for the local high schools. Dan is and has been a very active member of the community. He is president of Boston User Groups. He has participated in many non-technology community groups such as: Rotary Club, Lions Club, local Chambers of Commerce and is a mentor for the local high schools. Dan has been married since Oct 1991 and has one child who was born in 2005. His favorite place to go on vacation is Walt Disney World.
