Throughout my career, I have quite often heard this question being asked "What's the difference between a manager and a leader"
To me the answer is personified in the group manager of the area of the business that I sit in, namely the Server & Tools Business group. This person does not just follow processes/rules just to tick a box, but instead follows them where they make sense and questions/improves upon them when they don't. I know he shelters us from storms from the world above where necessary and also brings us into discussions where appropriate.
