OCS-to-PowerShell Mapping
There are several different ways to deploy Lync Server 2010. Some of these ways include : A brand new deployment; migration from Office Communications Server 2007 R2; mixed environment with OCS 2007 R2 and Lync Server. Whatever route you take, if you've worked as an administrator for an implementation of OCS 2007 R2, you're probably very familiar with all the windows and dialog boxes that you go through to manage the system. This mapping will help you to transition from managing OCS 2007 R2 to managing Lync Server 2010 by showing you how the fields in those windows and dialog boxes map to the cmdlets and properties in Lync Server 2010.
As time goes on we'll add more portions of the OCS UI to this mapping, so keep checking to see if your favorite part of the UI is here. Or simply ask us for it.
