Here’s a hotfix for ConfigMgr 2007 that we recently published. This is a hotfix to correct an issue where the TSManager.exe and TSInstallSWUpdates.exe processes freeze under certain scenarios, causing Software Updates to fail.
Consider the following scenario:
In this scenario, the TSManager.exe and TSInstallSWUpdates.exe processes freeze. Therefore, the software update is not installed. Additionally, the following message is logged in the SMSTS log:
Timed out waiting for updates refresh complete notification
