I was eavesdropping on a chat in the Office today where the conversation was around Microsoft partners and their ability to sell. It was an interesting debate and led to me remembering an article I found a while back defining the top ten demo crimes that could be committed by a presenter when trying to sell a software solution...
I'm not in any way insinuating that Microsoft Partners can't sell but as individuals, I always believe there is room for improvement.
I found this great refresher on what not to do if you don't want to ruin a sales opportunity with a stunningly awful demo!
Ciao for now :)
Oooh I've seen some shocking demos in my time.
My golden rule is to always make sure I've finished demo-ing BEFORE my audience has finished watching ;-)
