I just received an email from the folks at InformationWeek that a new site at http://platform-solutions.techweb.com/ just went live and provides a lot of great resources to better understand the Microsoft platform. Now, I know that there are a lot of sites that you can go to from www.microsoft.com that can get you information on various pieces of the Microsoft platform, but the great thing about this site is that the it provides information about our platform from an industry and third-party perspective and not just form the “horses mouth”, so to speak.
One thing that struck my eye when I visited the site was the cool navigation graphic on the left side of the site (and the captured image of the graphics on the left of this post) that has elements of the platform with the ability to click on different parts and jump right to more information on that piece. Want to get more on Data and Management – click on it and you’re taken to more information about that piece. There is even a section on IT processes and Application Lifecycle Management, as well as how the platform vision translates to the real world, and a whole lot more. Useful stuff!
Visit the Microsoft Platform Solutions Site at http://platform-solutions.techweb.com/ and check it out for yourself.
