Announcing the availability dates of Windows Vista and Office 2007 through TechNet Plus and MSDN Subscriptions
Following the RTM of Windows and Office in the last week, we are now able to confirm the dates when the RTM versions will be available through TechNet Plus and MSDN Subscriptions.
from Sunday, November 12th
from Friday, November 17th
Please note: replication of all files out to regional datacenters will take significant time. Specific editions will be available first, with the full range becoming available over several hours. We will be posting CD iso images to begin, followed by DVD images.
Microsoft will be shipping Windows Vista Ultimate & Office Professional Plus 2007 editions in the January shipment. All other editions will only be available from Subscriber Downloads which can be accessed from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/default.aspx.

Windows Vista and Office2007 are available in many different editions. Availability of these product editions varies by Subscription level, purchasing program and medium.
Media (CD & DVD) recipients will receive the editions indicated below in their January shipment. These will be shipping from Mid December to early January.

1 Vista Enterprise edition is exclusive to Software Assurance and Volume Licensing MSDN customers. All VL specific builds provided via MSDN must be installed using keys provided through an existing volume licensing agreement.
2Vista Starter and N editions (including x64) will not have keys available as of 11/17. These will follow in due course. K & KN x86 and x64 editions will follow with Korean localized editions.
