Adam Cole (B. Math, I.S.P., ITCP, PMP) is a well recognized healthcare IT executive. Adam has been director of McKesson’s Specialty Technology Solutions (at $100B+ McKesson is a Fortune 15 company), CTO of Phase 4 Health (a national Life Sciences company), and CIO of OPTIUM Digital Solutions (a healthcare IT consultancy he founded and grew to 15+ employees with two partners). Adam is the 2009 recipient of the Marilyn Harris IT Professionalism Award. In 2008 Cole’s projects won two of the three projects of the year at McKesson Specialty (financial contribution, innovation), in 2007 he hit a record setting 100% customer satisfaction. Previously Cole's projects came in first for the Process Innovation Award (West Park Healthcare Centre) and received a laureate from the International Computerworld Smithsonian Honors Award (telemedicine).

Cole’s projects in EMRs (Electronic Medical Records), CDM (Chronic Disease Management), marketing and clinical trials, patient and physician portals, etc. are used daily by patients and physicians across Canada and the world; have represented Canada on International trade missions; and, have appeared many times in the mainstream media including front covers of notable industry journals such as Computerworld and Canadian Healthcare Technology.

Adam is currently completing his EMBA. His passions include his family, running, and solving complex healthcare/IT problems.
