We're looking at bringing a WS2012 IT camp (full day hands-on workshop) to Vancouver and are just working through the scheduling. Please check www.aka.ms/ws2012events as I'll be updating that post as registration becomes available in the various cities. You can also join our Canadian IT Pros Linkedin group at www.aka.ms/itprolinkedin, follow me on twitter (@ruthm) or like me on facebook (www.facebook.com/ruthmortonmicrosoft) and I'll post on those places every time I edit and update the post.

Matthew, it's okay if you're Microsoft ID (email) is different from the one you received the newsletter at. As long as you use the same Microsoft ID (email) to sign up for the offer and download the trial, you'll be good. Haha, glad to hear you'll make good use of the card during the upgrade:)

Does that matter? Do you just simply need to be one of the first 1,100 Canadians to get the Tim's card? Got a server on the "cusp" spec-wise, so I'm anticipating using the whole card in the upgrade process. :)

Thanks anyway Microsoft! Proud to be a shareholder!

Just make sure that the info you put into the form is your Canadian information and that your Microsoft ID is also Canadian. To be safe, can you send me your Microsoft ID (just the email address, not password) that you used to download the Windows Server 2012 evaluation? I can check the reporting to make sure.

Thanks,
