It’s a big day for Microsoft with the launch of Windows 8 and the Surface. It’s the start of a new era where the term “personal computer” is being redefined and were the lines between business and consumer, work and play, are becoming blurred.
It’s also the continuation of a trend where we see IT and the delivery of IT services being redefined as we move towards more seamless, automated and self-service options through the adoption of a cloud model. Windows 8 can help with that, particularly when coupled with Windows Server 2012 and System Center 2012. For more on that, watch for my post on Monday!
