This one slipped through the cracks with all the Hyper-V in Windows 8 client hoopla of late.
For hard-core Hyper-V administrators, we live and breath Hyper-V with System Center VMM running our environments. Well – I’ve been working with the Beta since it came out and I now have learned from my RSS reader that the Release Candidate of SCVMM is now available!
You can get the Install Package and set it up yourself on your environment for evaluation and testing – it’s available from here.
You can download a pre-installed and working VHD image if you like – get it from here.
You can read more about the release from the documentation OR from the teams Blog Post here. Note: there is a big list of features included with this release – you will want to check out their post for details.
One Major thing of note: Upgrade Path with this RC Release
I’m off to upgrade my lab environment. Can’t wait to try this RC!
