A quick note to say that SP1 of System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 is now released and available to download. We announced the availability of the BETA of SCVMM 2012 earlier this week – but this brings some important support of our newest Hyper-V technologies that were included with SP1 for Hyper-V into the “managed” fold. With the advent of Dynamic Memory, Hyper-V hosts now have a CONSERVATIVE 40% greater consolidation capability WITHOUT impacting performance of Virtual Guests while maintaining the importance of ASLR.
I believe some posts are in order to talk about Dynamic Memory and how it has changed the way I think about allocating memory to Virtual Guests now. I’m in the process of restaging my portable lab environment I use for demos in order to support some events coming up – so I’ll capture some screencasts / screenshots and create up some blog posts to go along with ‘em.

Where can i download this service pack from?
I see the trial edition on download.microsoft.com but no the Servcie pack.
It also doesn't seem to be available on Windows Update yet either.
Thanks
Geoff
@Geoff - the Trial is the integrated SP1 edition now. you can get it from technet.microsoft.com/.../cc793138.aspx directly. included with the download (or on the download page) are release notes on how to upgrade. To my knowledge - there is not Windows Update planned for it.
