TechDays Toronto - it's a wrap!

DSC_0266 Well, it's a little sad, but we just finished up packing up all the equipment, striking the rooms and even had a post TechDays debrief meeting with all the speakers and event staff to capture our learnings and roll them into the next city and future TechDays.

What a conference, what an experience - it was great meeting all the people who took the time to connect and talk with us. We've posted a bunch of pictures online in our Flickr group - if you took any or plan on taking any, feel free to join up and share your shots. We recorded over 30 interviews and comments on what people liked, disliked and what we could do to make it better next time. I was carrying both my Nikon D40x to capture a lot of the shots you see as well as my M-Audio podcast recorder to get some cool audio and impromptu commentary - stay tuned for an "audio collage" from the event. I'll see what I can do to put that through some post production and get it uploaded here on the blog.

I've got to run and have a post TechDays pint, or two, or three with the team. Cheers Mate!

I can't wait to take this on the road - Montreal, here we come!

  • Guys and gals!

Amazing job!  My brain truly feels full!  and Stuffed!  And tired!

Can't wait for the NEXT Techdays.  The price was MORE than worth it!

BTW, Rock Video will be ready Friday Night. Get ready to see many people "Dancing" :)

  • Rick, as one of the attendees, YES - "Virtually" The Best education event I have attended in many years. The only thing I missed was being able to clone myself and attend some of the other Tracks.

After a good night's sleep I can now only hope to use even a small ammount of the knowledge presented.

This is the type of event that is needed to educate the technicians and planners of the newest Virualization technologies.

No marketing, just knowledge, direct answers to our questions, great!

Thanks for a well run event,

    Bob

  • My first time to a Microsoft event, it was pretty good.  However I felt it could have been even better.  Some of the presenters were great, and some were just 'okay'.
