Interoperability is often on my mind. I've never worked in a 100% Microsoft shop, and when I started thelazyadmin.com it was running on the LAMP stack. Another thing that is often on my mind is virtualization. More and more people are adopting virtualization technologies and this trend will continue. When I was living in Winnipeg I delivered a session to WITPRO on Virtual Server 2005 R2 and talked about, and did demos using Linux VMs as the VM additions for Linux had just been made available.
So when I got an email saying that new VM Additions were available I thought I should share this with you. What's new you might ask?
Oh and by support, I mean that anyone who deploys a supported guest operating systems in Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 can get product support through their normal Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 support channels. The Virtual Machine Additions for Linux will also be supported through the same channels.
