You may have loaded one of our blogs today and wondered where you ended up, I know I did. Well this still IS the CanITPro blog, we just found someone to make it look prettier. Mark Zielinski, our latest D&PE intern has been working hard to give our blogs a unique look. A look that ties all our blogs together, and makes no mistake that we are Canadian.
So now that you know you are still in the right place, what do you think of the new look?
I like the top part with the Canadian flag on it, and it good organize and looks nice, however the brown color in my opinion it’s not nice and is not representing Microsoft . I think light colors will be better.
Nice maple leaf. One thing about the new look, the font used (post bodies, small tags, etc.) looks very poor on my screen. Are you using the default theme font or did you override it?
If you are reading the blog in an aggregator you may not have noticed the new look and feel on the Canadian
On the computers that I have tried, it really slows down the web browser, especially when scrolling. Typing this, I'm way ahead of the words appearing on the screen. It looks great and would be better if we could speed it up.
Great concept to customize and put a Canadian theme down! I think the last time I looked at the page it was white text on the brown sidebar - the dark text is an improvement, but I think the brown colour needs to be reconsidered. I'd take a shot at the default SharePoint blue tones if it were up to me!
