The Ministry deployed Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Visio 2010, and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 to take advantage of business process design, workflow, and monitoring capabilities. The Ministry ordered equipment using a paper-based process that caused delays, and employees had no way to view the status of ordered items. Nor did field officers have a way to access or update information about cases they were investigating. To solve the issues, the Ministry deployed Microsoft® Office 2010, Microsoft® Visio® 2010, and Microsoft SharePoint Server® 2010 to take advantage of business process design, workflow, and monitoring capabilities.
