    Yesterday morning in New York City, Microsoft announced six grant recipient organizations, including Veterans Inc. of Worcester, Mass., as part of the Elevate America Veterans program to help veterans acclimate back into civilian life. The grant will provide veterans with technology skills training, job placement, career counseling, and other support services such as childcare, transportation, and housing.     Local Boys & Girls Club get a kick out of New England Revolution

    On July 10, more than 40 kids from the local Boys & Girls Club of Boston and local Microsoft employees travelled to a New England Revolution game. The kids enjoyed a great game in which the Revolution beat the Los Angeles Galaxy, 2-0. Afterwards, the kids were invited to participate in a private meet and greet with New England Revolution player Cory Gibbs, where he signed shirts, various other items and took pictures.
