Make your small business portable with MaktApp, the Middle East’s leading all-in-one business solution

Based in Qatar, MaktApp is a cloud solutions startup offering small companies in the Middle East a business administration system and cloud office management tool. Complete with customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities and an affordable subscription, MaktApp was built to help businesses manage and store their data relating to sales, email, customer correspondence, sales documentation, and employee efficiency in one secure, cloud-based solution. Designed with state-of-the-art translation software, MaktApp is equipped with advanced English and Arabic language translation capabilities - the first solution of its kind in the Middle East, says CTO and Founder Waleed Al-Yafie. “We are trying to reach small and medium enterprises and companies in the region by offering a packaged solution with high-quality services. The goal is to make it possible for small businesses throughout the Middle East to be completely mobile, without sacrificing security or losing important opportunities for international business. Small companies in the region previously haven’t had access to an all-in-one solution with robust English to Arabic language capabilities.”

A participant in the BizSpark program, MaktApp uses Azure to host both their web and mobile applications. In addition to utilizing Azure’s hosting capabilities, MaktApp employs Azure Database to store customer information, SQL Server for enhanced security and data analytics, and Virtual Machines for testing flexibility. “Azure is a great product. Everything is completely integrated and it has given us so many options for scalability. Joining the BizSpark program has given us easy access to high quality resources and great technical support. We’ve really benefitted from the relationship,” finishes Al-Yafie. Check out MaktApp maktapp-image-2-png
