Growing organically means we are hiring but slowly.
.NET (WPF and Silverlight). One of the best technology stack around and certainly the one that is progressing the most rapidly.
Everywhere, barriers to entry are low and new niches appear every day. Be yourself, be original. Don’t follow the crowd by reinventing the last next best thing.
It’s a fantastic counter-part to the open-source model (not completely altruist from Microsoft though). Open-source development tools are free, well, Microsoft ones are free too (if you are a startup). By the time you have to pay for it, you are either bust or successful so it doesn’t matter either way.
Go for it!
It’s a bit of a cliché but Bill Gates is not a bad one.
Power is shifting toward the users. Software should be easy to use period. No excuse for clumsy user interfaces.
