  • Happy to hear this announcement.

But restrictions on India, Pakistan, China.

Can you please update, why this Regional Restrictions?if possible

I am from India, disappointment :-(

  • I know we have a lot of customers in those regions that would be interested in participating, but we restrict access to beta exams in those regions due to exam content piracy concerns.

  • Just now try to register and get

    Voucher Number or Promotion Code

Discount is not offered for this Client.

Prometric Code not ready yet ? or already FULL ?

  • I've been trying to register since early this morning.

    Even called prometric.

Code is not showing valid in their system.. ??

  • Jeff with me has ocurred same error...

"Discount is not offered for this Client."

I'm from Brazil, so no has any regional restrictions... =(

    What is the problem?

  • Jeff with me has ocurred same error

"Discount is not offered for this Client."

    I'm from Peru ...

    :(

  • It's not available in India, Pakistan, etc because some of you guys like to take the exams as groups via corrupt test centers are prone to publishing vital Microsoft Exam Info to Braindump sites. New exams cost well over 100,000 to create, and it's an inconvenience to Microsoft and the test takers. For those that create braindumps and use braindumps have created a great disservice for those who honestly try to take them.  We are the true IT, and our skills are validated everyday.  If you read these dumps you are cheating yourself. You get certs just to get a job, and you still don't know diddley!

I'm not saying you guys are solely to blame, India is an impoverished country as a whole, and people try to make a penny here and there.  But by compromising integrity it's hurting us.  Certs have lost some value in the eyes of employers because of those rogue few.  It's a vicious cycle, and it adversely affects the exam price (braindumps that is). India, China, and Pakistan have no concept of copyright infringement and intellectual property.  But you can't blame the people, they are in a system where they are struggling to eat.

I'm not directing this to you by any means as I am merely venting my anger.

I was able to register for 505 today, I was getting a discount is not offered this morning.  I thought I was blacklisted because my name is Indian, maybe had a filter on %FIRST_NAME% like '%AKM*%' or '%AMHE*%' or '%MOHA*%".  I am taking this this weekend. Wish me luck everyone :) Also tomorrow, I am taking 536 MCTS. Wish me luck, I've been programming like a mofo the past two days at work, using new technologies for the sake of using new technologies. That's what I love about these beta exams, they are on the cutting horizon of new concepts. I love being the first to discover something new. I feel like a metaphorical Jacques Coustaeu.

  • I was able to register without any problems, except that no one offers the exam other than during regular work hours and I am a per-hour contractor. (Please bring back Vue!)

The Preparation Guide states "The percentages indicate the relative weight of each major topic area on the exam." but there are no percentages listed!

Any chance on rectifying this before I take the exam next week so that I can know where I should concentrate my studies?

Larry West, MCSD, MCPD, MCITP, MCTSx8, MOSx2, MCP, FLMI, ACS, ....

  • My mid term exam will be start  NEXT WEEK. I need the most updated and fresh news about Microsoft .NET Framework exam because i can't waist most of the time Registration.
