A question that often comes up is which endpoint security products are supported by UAG, as part of the endpoint detection mechanism. UAG comes with a pre-populated list, which is divided to three categories:
1) Anti Spyware
2) Antivirus
3) Personal Firewall
It is relatively easy to see the list by simply creating a new endpoint policy within the UAG policy editor. In the editor, one can easily see the list of products in each category:
Keep in mind, though, that UAG also supports WMI based detection via the Windows Security Center (a.k.a Action Center), which extends support to virtually any modern security product that has been designed to integrate with the Security/Action center mechanism.
