AVIcode Quick Fix: HTTP 500 Internal server error running Advisor Problem Analysis Reports in AVIcode Intercept Studio 5.6

When you run one of the Problem Analysis Reports in AVIcode Intercept Studio 5.6, you may receive the following error:

An error has occurred
The additional error information can be found in the Windows
Application Log. We apologize for any inconvenience caused
by this temporary service outage.

Specifically, this problem affects the following reports:

Day of Week Utilization
Hour of Day Utilization
Utilization Trend

When the reporting error occurs, Intercept Advisor logs an Error event in the Application Log with event ID 0 and a message that says "(500) Internal server error" .

Also, the Report Server log (i.e. ReportServerService__<datetime>.log) contains an exception that is similar to the following:

Cause

This is a known issue in AVIcode Intercept Studio 5.6.

Resolution

To resolve this issue upgrade to AVIcode Intercept Studio 5.7.
