How to Protect Windows Clients with System Center Data Protection Manager 2010
One of the most exciting new features in DPM 2010 is protection for Windows Clients, including laptops that are often disconnected from the corporate network. In this webcast, we will look at how DPM 2010 creates policies of what kinds of data should be protected (or not). We will look at how protection continues while laptops are disconnected. And see the end-users' experience from the Windows Client, including the ability to add additional areas for protection, as well as the ability to restore their own data.

Managing SharePoint 2010 in Midsized IT Organizations
The upcoming release of SharePoint 2010 promises to enable even greater collaboration than its predecessors. In this session, we will look at SharePoint deployments in midsized organizations, focusing on the management and protection of SharePoint farms. To accomplish this, we will be showing System Center Essentials and System Center Data Protection Manager, for systems management and backup respectively. System Center Essentials 2010 can be used to maintain and monitor the health of all of the component servers that are in the SharePoint farm, including the web front ends and SQL Server content databases. System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 can protect the entire farm, but restore databases as well as individual documents and sites.
