About "Ask PFE Platforms"

Welcome to our unofficial blog for Microsoft Premier Field Engineers (PFEs) supporting the Microsoft Windows Platform (server and client OS plus related components). We are a group of 25 PFEs who are dedicated to supporting Microsoft Premier support customers.  We are directly interacting with our customers daily – helping them to understand, use, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft technologies.  Collectively, our expertise spans technologies like Active Directory, Failover Clustering, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Deployment, Certificate Services, Performance and Networking.  We have the benefit of seeing these technologies every day, in real-world scenarios, across hundreds of customers.  We want to share our knowledge, experiences, tools, tips and tricks with our readers – so they can benefit from our expertise and apply this knowledge to their own environments and circumstances.  We also hope to respond to select questions that you submit directly to us.

For more information about becoming a Microsoft Premier customer or if you already are and would  like the assistance of a PFE contact us at askpfeplat@microsoft.com.
