Slight correction to the (great) post:

You are saying the Event 1010 does not log an event for when a computer is primary., only when it's not... But it actually does log when a computer is primary. I have proof :)

Nice feature! Prior to SCCM, I implemented a logon script to track the last 10 computers a user logs into and the last 10 users that log into a computer by providing access to an attribute which we extended the schema for (hurray!)
