Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1 support ends on July 12 . As in, one week from now. This means computers running SP1 won&amp;rsquo;t get security updates after the next Patch Tuesday.

&lt;p&gt;Not only Windows Vista SP1 goes EOL on Juli 12 but even more important is that Windows Server 2008 SP1 does the same, &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?p1=12925"&gt;support.microsoft.com/lifecycle&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
