You shouldn't need to switch to use repadmin.exe, that is part of Vista RSAT. You are free to install the 2003 Support Tools on Vista to get REPLMON, they will work (they are just not supported).

I actually have an article on this in the pipeline, should be out next week.

What I'm wondering is if there will ever be Windows Server 2003 support tools for Vista. I still have to switch back and forth between my Vista laptop and my XP workstation when I need to run replmon or repadmin.
