I am asking this because now that SCVMM manages every Hyper-V servers in a domain (including clustered hyper-v hosts), it makes sense to have this action available in SCVMM in order to provide unified user experience for our customers.

I know this is probable a SCVMM-domain question, but could you verify this for us?

Thanks

please can you confirm or not that protocols "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" should be enabled on ISCSI Network Card.

Usually, i disable it because iscsi dont need it.

Many thanks .

re: Windows Server 2008 R2 Live Migration – “The devil may be in the networking details.”

I thought that CSV was a requisite for Live migration but I've been told that it is not.

Is that true ? Does it work with normal clustered LUN as well ? What about the problem of having one host locking the LUN ?

Using CSV I didn't find a way to backup the VM residing on CSV volume as it seems that VSS does not work with CSV
