I have DPM installed on a WS2003 server. I have WS2008 servers protected and 1 XP machine.

I am trying to protect 2 Vista Business machines. 1 is a Vista 64 the other a 32.

I have tried to push and also tried to manually install, using your instructions. All have failed.

The Shell message is indicating the machine is not in the AD that I am trying to put the agent on.

Both are in the Domain. I see them in the AD. The DNS points correctly to them. No firewalls are on either the DPM server or the agent machines. I can ping from DPM server to the agents and back.

All of the manual directions work except for the Attach.-ProductionServer.ps1 indicating the machine can not be found in the AD.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Troubleshooting tips for DPM 2007 - on the Windows Server Core blog

Hi folks, There are some great DPM troubleshooting articles on the Windows Server 2008 core blog ( http://blogs.technet.com/askcore
