Just tested a great tool to multiboot almost any OS. It's called EasyBCD it's free and very easy to use.
EasyBCD 1.51 supports booting into Windows Vista/Longhorn Server natively; Legacy versions of Windows via NTLDR; chainloading into GRUB, Darwin, Lilo, FreeBSD Loader; and natively booting into Linux, Mac OS X, BSD, ReactOS, SkyOS, and many more.

Most of you have probably heard about this new Exchange 2007 Server Role: Unified Messaging. But what is it? Why would you care about this? And how does it fit into the Unified Communications Strategy Microsoft has coming for you as an Exchange Administrator? To provide you with an answer to any UM or UC related question, we have decided to organize our third community event around Unified Communications. Dirk Caals from Microsoft Belgium will guide you through the vision Microsoft follows concerning Unified Communications, and the tools Microsoft offers you to set it up! He will show you the features Exchange 2007 has available for you, and the power you can have if you combine it with LCS, and other software packages.
Do you want to attend? Simply register yourself onto http://www.proexchange.be site and they will send you an invitation mail.
Here is more information about the "Building end-to-end Infrastructure security" sessions in the Security track during the Dev & IT Pro days.
Join John Craddock and Sally Storey for a holistic approach to implementing security.
Like many IT professionals, you might have attended security seminars and sessions over the years and gained an appreciation of the various security technologies available. But when, where and how these technologies can and should be leveraged can often be confusing.
Infrastructure security is frequently only considered once server roles and network connectivity has been implemented, a problem made worse by inadequate training. When security technologies are not deployed until late in a project, the result can be poor implementation, weak documentation and compliance testing.
Presenter: John CraddockJohn Craddock has designed and implemented computing systems ranging from embedded high-speed industrial controllers through to distributed IT solutions. John lectures internationally and has written and presented technical sessions at MTB, MEC, Tech·Ed, Microsoft IT Forum, JDP and deployment conferences.
Demos by: Sally StoreySally is ITIL qualified and specialises in building process that keep systems highly available and secure.

During the keynote @ IT Forum Barcelona which I missed (damn) Jeffrey Snover (PowerShell Architect) did a demo on how to manage a website based on PHP. The video of the demo can be found onto the Channel 9 site. The key message here is that Longhorn is the platform to host your websites because it can run your applications faster then Apache.
Onto the IIS7 site you can find an "Introduction to PowerShell and IIS 7.0" article. And for the developers amongst us they also wrote an article about "Writing PowerShell cmdlets for IIS7"
Go ahead and start writing your own cmdlets to manage future IIS7 websites. That even IIS7 leverages PowerShell scripting is great and I hope more and more of our application will do so. PowerShell is getting famous, new user groups are founded, even during my time at IT-Forum I saw lot's of Buzz about PowerShell (too bad I didn't get a T-Shirt). I hope in the near future we will have someone in Belgium that wants to start an User-Group about this and if you please let me know I certainly be a member.
In case you did not noticed we released a Powershell documentation pack. This pack contains the following information:
Go ahead and download the pack and start coding or should I say scripting with Powershell.
As you might have read it on a previous blogpost we are currently very busy with the preparation of the Dev & IT Pro Days 2007. I can now tell you that the registration is open. The agenda is still not online but I can share with you that for the IT Pro track we will have 4 Sessions delivered by John Craddock & Sally Storey about infrastructure security.
During this three day conference you will be able to "Satisfy your technical curiosity" and learn about current and future technology. There will be sessions about Exchange 2007, Longhorn Server, ISA, Virtualisation, Vista, System Center Products, Forefront Products, SQL Server, SharePoiny 2007 ....
The agenda will be online very shortly. As IT Pro content owner I hope to see many of the IT Pro's during those three days.
Call to action: Go ahead and register yourself. http://www.Dev-ITProdays.be
It's a bit later then foreseen but here is the screencast I recorded. In this screencast I show you how fast our 4 Node Windows Compute Cluster was. We had the opportunity to use 4 Dual Quad core machines from Intel, which we used during our Business Innovation event.
Video: HPC Windows Compute Cluster in action
There is a site out there that focuses onto Windows High Performance Computing (WinHPC.org)
Take a look it contains lot's of valuable information.

Where? Global Knowledge , Mechelen
6PM-6:30PM: Arrival
6:30PM-10PM: Breakout Session
Targeted Audience? All members of SQLUG
Breakout Session?
Werner Geuens - Senior Consultant at Cronos - will be speaking about XML on our next UG-evening.
SQL Server 2005 introduces the new XML datatype. We can now store XML natively in the database. Does that mean that we can stop shredding? When is the XML datatype useful and what is typed and untyped XML? Werner will be answering these questions as well as going over XML Schema collection functionality and how this can help us to control the quality of XML documents in our database. He will also be showing us how property promotion can save the day and naturally he will talk about the different types of XML indexes and their use.
If you want to attend this session go ahead and register yourself to the http://www.sqlug.be site and then you will be able to register for this session.
If you want to relive the biggest event in Belgium & Luxembourg well now you can. During our Business Innovation Day we recorded 4 sessions:
You can discover or relive all these sessions on our IT's Showtime site.
If you are looking for the sysinternals site you will be redirected to the TechNet site. We have incorporated the sysinternals tools into our TechNet site http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals.
I was looking for the tools Regmon and Filemon which let's you scan your registry and file processes. However I found out this new tools Proces Monitor which includes both tools and also gives you information about the running processes/threads.
Process Monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity. It combines the features of two legacy Sysinternals utilities, Filemon and Regmon, and adds an extensive list of enhancements including rich and non-destructive filtering, comprehensive event properties such session IDs and user names, reliable process information, full thread stacks with integrated symbol support for each operation, simultaneous logging to a file, and much more. Its uniquely powerful features will make Process Monitor a core utility in your system troubleshooting and malware hunting toolkit.
Go ahead and download this tool.
Yesterday we launched the new version of the Microsoft.com site, look at the nice Ajax technology. Go ahead and check it out.
Nope no more Beta 2 just read on the MSExchangeTeam blog that the SIGNOFF of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 has been completed.
You can read it also onto the MSExchangeTeam blogpost
This is great news because with Vista and Office 2007 already released this is the third major release. Now you can start deploying a complete new environment and believe those three products do work better together. And I must admit my mailbox has been moved to Exchange 2007 more than a month now and I love it, first of all I really love the new way of booking meetings with the Scheduling assistant. The second feature I love the the way I can set my Out of Office, before I sometimes forgot to disable it until someone told me. Now you can define the time you will be out of the office.
There are so many great features we added onto the Exchange Server 2007 that I cannot list them all here. If you want to find out which features then go ahead and check the MSExchangeTeam or just read one of my upcoming posts about IT Pro Resources for Exchange Server 2007.
Congratulations to the Exchange Product team !!!
Update: And how could I forget this, you can check out our Belgian Exchange User Group site http://www.pro-exchange.be
