Just a quick tip on an issue you might run into when running Outlook 2007 locally and Outlook 2010 virtualized on the same machine. When you have a scenario like this, upon the first launch of virtualized Outlook 2010 you might receive the following error message:
Outlook experienced a serious problem with the Microsoft outlook mobile service add-in.
To resolve this, open the package on the sequencer and add the following registry keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.OMSAddin] "CommandLineSafe"=dword:00000000 "Friendly Name"="Microsoft Outlook Mobile Service" "LoadBehavior"=dword:00000000
After adding these values and creating the key, also set the following key in the sequencer to OVERRIDE:
[[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.OMSAddin]
* The above key is for 64-bit Operating Systems. If your Operating System is 32-bit make the changes to this key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.OMSAddin]
