Hi and welcome to the Microsoft SoftGrid blog! As some of you may already know, on July 17th of last year Microsoft completed the acquisition of Softricity Inc., a leading provider of application virtualization and dynamic streaming technologies. Virtualization is a key technology for reducing the cost and complexity of IT management, and the addition of Softricity is another step in Microsoft’s ongoing strategy to make virtualization more broadly accessible and affordable for customers.
So what can you expect from this blog? The SoftGrid team is anxious to spread the word and get out as much information as we can about deploying, supporting and managing a SoftGrid environment so expect that first. We know that a lot of you either are or will be first time users of SoftGrid so we'll be starting with some of the basics, but don't worry, we'll try to quickly mix in some more advanced topics as well. We will also use this space as a platform to communicate current hot issues and information about some of the upcoming releases so don't be surprised if you see that as well.
We still have a lot to do as we work to get Softricity fully integrated into Microsoft, and the product group is working hard to get the next version out the door so forgive us if it seems this blog gets updated randomly or infrequently at first.
We hope you enjoy our blog and look forward to reading and responding to your comments.

Nice...I have working with SoftGrid a few years and looking forward to learn more from this blog.
You may want to visit http://www.softgridguru.com for information/best practices, etc. It's probably the best source of SoftGrid info on the net at the moment.
Happy to see this started! We have been amazed by the product but equally amazed by the lack of documentation or community resources!!!
