&lt;p&gt;No you can&amp;#39;t do that. The virtual switch you refer to is to preserve network setting for VMs as they move around data centres. &amp;nbsp;There&amp;#39;s no UI for this in Windows Server 2012 only PowerShell, however this is exactly what you set up in System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 sp1, &amp;nbsp;to create networks for when you start managing larger numbers of VMs&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have a query here. Is there any way in Hyper V 3 to virtualize the &amp;quot;External Virtual switch&amp;quot;. To be more specific to my question. Can I create multiple external virtual switch binding on to a single NIC?&lt;/p&gt;
