&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve only just reloaded FS-X after upgrading to Win7 x64 from XP x86 on the same system and have noticed a startling difference to the performance, and therefore available trade offs able to made. All of a sudden FSX is awesome again :) &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can&amp;#39;t wait for the release of FS-XI to prompt me to upgrade my hardware again !&lt;/p&gt;
