They have a connect bug on it, go vote for it. Its one way to get MS to change their mind.

I also think this function should be kept. Just let the user decide.

Moreover, it is a good place to "promote" 2008 because developers may find many new feature available only in 2008 when IntelliSense show the available command/functions.

I am pretty sure you can't, so upgrade to SQL 2008 and put it ihnot 2005 compatibility mode would be my top tip

is there a way to keep the CTP5 version?

or some 'hack' to enable intellisense for the RTM?

I would like to use it (knowing the compatiblity issues) for 2005.
