NEW in Data Protection Manager 2010 Licensing:

  • With the release of Data Protection Manager 2010, the management server software license does not require a separate purchase. Rights to the Data Protection Manager 2010 software are included in the server and client management licenses (ML). The rights to the management server software will also be included in the management suites.

  • The Data Protection Manager Client Management License is now included in the Client Management Suite and Enterprise CAL. Customers who have Software Assurance on either of these suites, as of June 1, 2010, will receive Data Protection Manager Client ML rights at no additional license cost.
