1) Checkfor Antivirus on the box 2) Exclude %systemroot%\system32\Dhcp and the subfolders within it from being scanned by AntiVirus3) Copy all the files and folder under %systemroot%\system32\Dhcp unto a different location 4) Create a new folder by the name “backup” (name in lower case) under %systemroot%\system32\Dhcp 5) Start Dhcp service if still unable start Dhcp service Set Dhcp Server Service to manualClean boot the Box Follow Step 3 onwardsIf DHCP Service is started and still we are getting the above error Set Dhcp Server Service to manual Stop Dhcp Server Service then follow from Step 1
