Evans

This is great. Now what's the procedure to get to the reliability report on Windows7 Ultimate?

I just love it when Microsoft thinks it's necessary to change names and locations of commonly used system tools and control panel applets.

If it does the same thing, WHY rename? Why change location?

All of the Control panel applets in Windows XP still exist in Vista and Windows 7 they just have new names and locations.

Impact: All system administration and consultant types have to learn the new names and locations. And Microsoft wonders why we hate Vista and Windows 7. Do you think System Administrators/MCSEs don't have enough to learn as it is?

This particular item is a PRIME example. In Vista it was new and called a Reliability report. You could find it right under the performance report tool. That made some sense. It was logical.

Now in Windows7 it's someplace else and when using the help in Windows7 it can't find it as a reliability report or monitor. Why does this surprise me? It doesn't.

re: Using Reliability Monitor for Troubleshooting

I use Vista OS on my Dell XPS M1530 Laptop.
