I'm not sure what you mean by Remote Desktop Configuration, but if you mean on the client side, no you do not configure EasyPrint on the client. The server is configured to use EasyPrint and you can disable it to fallback to Windows Server 2003 redirected printing where you must have a driver on the server that matches the client driver so that the server can render the print job before sending it to the client.

I have the client that user the windows terminal server to printer your report. But with user Powerbuilder program it ins't sucess.

When Printing from Powerbuilder through printers tied through Easy Print I get the footer on the page but not the report. Client Computer is XP w/Service Pack 3 and .Net Framework 3.5

Everything looks good on my client w/service pack 3 and .net 3.5 but when trying to print, nothing comes out of my printer and there is no error message.

Hello I have the same problem with terminal services 2008, WinXP SP 2, .Net Framework 3.5, RDP client 6.1 and when I try to print from a program built in Power Builder 4.0, i don't have error messages, the only thing i see is that the paper comes out in blank!

when i connect to windows 2008 server from thin client using Remote desktop connection, I see the printers installed on my thin client redirected in the session but the device settings / advance properties are disabled for the printers which i require enabled so as to change them. kindly tell the solution

Hi Folks ... I'm back here with the same "blank page" problem using WS2008 R2 RC Terminal Services Printing. I tried to apply the KB959554 hotfix, but of course it won't install on R2. Does MS have a fix for this in R2 yet? Will MS have this resolved in R2 before it ships?

Hi I have the same question as AMG. How do i change printer settings on the terminal server for redirected printers?

I cannot use the easy print driver for an Epson TM-T88iv... performance issues. I have installed teh driver on the 2008 server. When the client conencts it creates teh printer with the correct driver. I then need to disable BiDirection support on the 'Ports' tab. I usually do this with prnadmin.dll or setprinter.exe. But in 2008 the ability to even make this change manually has been disallowed. How can i make this change to a redirected printer?

In windows Vista Business with SP 1 , i cannot print through terminal services easy print, but in XP client It works.

We´re using Terminal Services Printing sinse february 2009 and I have some troubles about it that I would like to comment.

When we began de TS implementation in our ERP, i found problems with the remote printing because the printed documents had error in the font, I was searching on the web and I found the link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946411/ .

I call to microsoft to ask for this patch and every was working fine until this week, when I aproved the last security patches for Microsoft XP SP3.

This week a began to find this message on many of the machines where a applied the patch at that moment "windows presentation foundation terminal server print w has encounter an error....". Also event ID 5000 --source .net runtime 2.0 error reporting -- EventType clr20r3, P1 tswpfwrp.exe, P2 3.0.6920.1109, P3 470bc7c1, P4 windowsbase, P5 3.0.0.0, P6 488f1338, P7 dc1, P8 30, P9 system.io.fileformatexception, P10 NIL."

I was searching in the interhet and I found a workaround from to the problems coping de TsWpfWrp.exe from another machine with vista version and is working fine again, but I belive i'm going to start again with the original problem.

Any Ideas ???

Well, I answered my own question about the blank pages problem with Server 2008 R2 - it is still broken. The blank pages problem in Server 2008 that was fixed with KB959554 reappeared in Server 2008 R2 RC and is still there now that I have built a test machine with the release version of Server 2008 R2.

Easy print not print

I have a DC Windows 2008 SP2 standar and TS role active, when my clients print in yours default print get error in the server event viewer like this
