Groove products complement and extend Microsoft's collaboration capabilities by allowing teams of information workers to securely create and share files, manage projects and meetings, and track data and processes in a highly decentralised manner unconstrained by time, location, or organisational affiliation.

Groove meets the needs of teams who:

• Are virtual - across a matrix company

• Are geographically distributed - perhaps across timezones

• Work across organisational boundaries (and/or firewalls)

• Need to be productive whether connected to a network or not - online/offline

There are two offerings:

• Groove Hosted Services - For Groove deployments between 20 and 1,000 users
• Groove Enterprise Servers - For Groove deployments of more than 1,000 users
